  There are two options to be considered with our wired pickguards. The first is our wired pickguard assembly in which you use your own pickups. The second is the fully assembled and wired pickguard, which includes the SweetSpot™ S2 Pickup Set. Additional accessorie options include push/push circuitry, single or triple ply pickguard, and aged white plastic parts. Some of the benefits of purchasing a fully assembled and wired drop-in pickguard include:
   
 
  • You can take your existing pickguard off the guitar as a whole unit and put it away for future use.
  • For example, if you decide to sell the guitar you can put the original pickguard back on and keep your DeTemple pickguard.
  • Another option is to sell the old pickguard assembly to offset the cost of the DeTemple pickguard.
   
 
   
 
Single or Triple Ply Wired Pickguard
For Strat®-style guitar (PART #: Swired1 or Swired1S)

— 3 Pots, (1 volume 2 tone), five-way switch, Sprague
Orange Drop capacitor, and wires leading to jack

— Push/Push pot circuitry allows neck pickup to be turned
on or off allowing choice of two outside pickups or all three pickups as well as the standard five pickup positrons.
 
 
Single or Triple Ply Wired Pickguard with Copper Shielding
For Strat®-style guitar (PART #: Swired3 or Swired3S)

— 3 Pots, (1 volume 2 tone), five-way switch, Sprague Orange
Drop capacitor, and wires leading to jack

— Push/Push pot circuitry allows neck pickup to be turned on
or off allowing choice of two outside pickups or all three pickups as well as the standard five pickup positions.
